It's a unique recipe for adults & kids with diabetes (additional scientific information is available at the following links). There is no sugar add, no eggs add, no starch add:
- We replaced the traditional starch in this product with fiber from Flaxseed and Psyllium Husk.
- We added apple cider vinegar for a sour taste. Vinegar improves insulin sensivity to a high-carbohydrate meal in subjects with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes
- We used sunflower oil as the base oil. Statistical analysis was made and the results indicated that Sunflower oil played a more significant role in the reduction of fasting blood glucose levels (p<0.25)
- We sweetened the product with agave syrup.
It is fermented spices in this Mayo that gives the sauce a restaurant-like brightness of flavour.
Italian herbs add antioxidants to the product, essential for diabetic menus.
